Terri becomes its own company at the end of the year – meets increased demand for sustainable forest machines
From the turn of the year, the forest machinery company Terri will become its own company as the demand for Terri's thinning machines is constantly growing both in Sweden and on the export markets.
Considering the positive development of the business, the parent company Alfing i Älmhult AB has decided that it is time for Terri to be run as a separate company.
Terri AB will continue to develop, assemble and market its forest machines in Älmhult, while the component manufacturing takes place under the auspices of Alfing.
- It is fantastic to note how the interest in Terri's machines has developed positively and that turnover has increased by more than six times in the last three years, says Claes Göran Claesson, CEO of Terri AB.
From the turn of the year, the forest machinery company Terri will become its own company as the demand for Terri's thinning machines is constantly growing both in Sweden and on the export markets.
- In addition to our leading market position for stock thinning machines in Sweden, we also see increasing interest from the export markets.
- Having said this, we think it is high time that the Terri operation in Älmhult becomes its own unit and can continue to develop machines that meet future demands for gentle forestry, concludes Claes Göran.
Terri looks forward to a continued close collaboration with Alfing but is also full of energy and ambition for the future as an independent company. They thank all employees, customers and partners for their support so far and look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to sustainable forestry - both in Sweden and internationally.
