Domain Timber Advisors names John Capriotti and Don Warden as managing directors in leadership transition

Domain Capital Group, LLC, and its subsidiary, Domain Timber Advisors, LLC, announced leadership changes effective January 1, 2025, as part of a strategy to support continued growth in the timberland and natural capital sectors. The update includes the retirement of Joe Sanderson from his role as managing director, transitioning into an advisory role through 2025 to ensure continuity for the team and investors.

John Capriotti and Don Warden are appointed managing directors and co-heads of Domain Timber Advisors, bringing over 40 years of combined industry experience. Since 2004, they have built, managed, and sold timberland portfolios exceeding 3 million acres. Capriotti has managed assets exceeding $3 billion in the timber, real estate, and finance sectors. Warden, with over 25 years of experience, has overseen more than $2 billion in timberland, real estate, and natural capital transactions.

Scott Reaves, who joined Domain Timber Advisors in 2017, is promoted to managing director. Reaves’ contributions over two decades in the industry have been pivotal to Domain's growth, ensuring leadership continuity.

Domain Timber Advisors maintains its focus on sustainable forestry investments while expanding into natural capital solutions, forest carbon, and biodiversity projects. The firm reported $7.9 billion in total assets under management as of September 30, 2024, including $6.8 billion in regulatory assets and $1.1 billion in non-regulatory assets.
