Atlas Engineered Products Ltd (AEP) reports a 48% year-over-year increase in quote volumes and an 11% rise in order volumes for January 2025. The company generated 99% of its 2024 revenue from Canada, with only 1% from the United States. AEP remains focused on expanding in Canada while evaluating U.S. growth opportunities.

Despite harsher winter conditions, AEP maintained strong shipping activity across its key markets in January 2025. The company continues progress on its new robotic manufacturing facility in Ontario, with land cleared and excavation scheduled to begin, weather permitting. The steel structure for the facility has been ordered.

AEP’s leadership emphasizes confidence in its business model, citing reduced exposure to U.S. economic policy actions due to its primarily Canadian operations. The company also sees continued demand for trusses, wall panels, and engineered wood products as Canada faces a structural housing shortage. Additionally, AEP is monitoring merger and acquisition opportunities, aiming to acquire undercapitalized operations across Canada.
