Boise Cascade announces the promotion of Nathan Sikes to senior vice president of western operations for its Building Materials Distribution (BMD) division, effective February 24, 2025. In this role, Sikes will oversee BMD’s facilities and door shops in the Western and Pacific regions. The company shared the announcement on February 21, 2025.

Sikes has been with Boise Cascade since 2006, holding various leadership roles within the BMD division. Most recently, he served as vice president of BMD sales and marketing. His previous positions include southwest region manager, branch manager, sales manager, and general line product manager. He holds a business administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and serves on the board of directors for the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas.

Jo Barney, executive vice president of Boise Cascade’s BMD division, highlighted Sikes’ leadership and relationship-building skills, emphasizing his ability to develop talent and drive results. Jeff Strom, chief operating officer of Boise Cascade, noted Sikes’ commitment to company values and exceptional service to customers and suppliers.
