Conner Industries, a provider of lumber, wood crates, and integrated packaging solutions, has acquired Kirkland Sales Inc., a custom foam fabricator, to expand its integrated packaging division. This acquisition marks Conner's fifth investment in this sector and aims to enhance its Texas market presence, particularly in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The move aligns with Conner's strategy to integrate wood, foam, plastics, and corrugate components for improved transportation packaging solutions. This development was announced by Conner Industries in a recent press release.

Conner's Garland facility recently expanded by 53%, increasing its manufacturing space to over 100,000 square feet and earning ISO and AS certifications. The acquisition of Kirkland Sales will consolidate operations with the Garland site, increasing production capacity in the Dallas/Fort Worth market and improving efficiency for government and Department of Defense contracts.

David Dixon, CEO of Conner Industries, highlighted Kirkland's expertise in custom foam, gasket, and plastic fabrication as a valuable addition to Conner’s integrated packaging capabilities. The acquisition is expected to support Conner's growth in military, defense, and manufacturing sectors.

Additionally, Conner recently appointed Tito Robledo as General Manager of its Guardian facility. Robledo brings 18 years of industry experience to aid the company's continued growth in integrated packaging solutions across Texas and the United States.

David Kirkland of Kirkland Sales emphasized Conner’s ability to meet customer demands and deliver protective packaging solutions as key reasons for joining forces. Kirkland Sales will continue to provide custom foam fabrication, gasket solutions, and protective packaging under the Conner umbrella.
